Software Development Engineer Amazon Ads - Sales Partner Enablement

Amazon is investing in building a world class Advertising business. Our team the Advertising Sales Engineering team is at the head of this growth to enable our sales teams deliver at scale. Our goal is to accelerate the manually intensive sales operations by building required services and selfservice applications.

This is a team with a focused initiative looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer / SDE with a proven track record of building web applications and services at scale. Youll be responsible for owning designing and delivering highly scalable systems. Were a fastgrowing team with a very high focus from business to grow. You will:

Design and build systems from scratch.



Key job responsibilities
Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs propose features create early prototypes and transform them into exciting experiences.
Propose innovative tools frameworks automations and processes that are used by the entire services team for development.
Write clean maintainable code and perform peer codereviews.
Deepdive into client or server systems to optimize for performance maintainability scalability extensibility as needed.
Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence

3 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
2 years of noninternship professional software development experience
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
1 year of experience working with AWS cloud services such as ECS DynamoDB S3 and Lambda.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
