Job Description
Sales Representative
We are seeking a dynamic and selfmotivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling retail walkin customers interior designers and architects from product selection to closing sales orders. The role involves generating leads meeting or exceeding sales goals negotiating contracts and preparing sales reports. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills product knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with retail walkin customers interior designers and architects to assist with product selection and close sales orders.
- Utilize software and excel to create selections and quotations and follow up with customers.
- Generate leads and meet or exceed sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and determine pricing schedules for quotes promotions and negotiations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understand and promote company programs and obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients.
- Visit clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services and maintain client records.
- Answer client questions about credit terms products prices and availability.
Requirements
- Product knowledge in the building materials industry (can be trained if the candidate has basic knowledge).
- Strong English and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and calculation knowledge for making quotations.
