The Sales Advisor provides exemplary service to all prospects clients vendors and partners with the goal of adding profitable TIV (total insured value) to the insurance program primarily to their assigned region.
Essential Functions - Evaluate current insurance coverage develop and advise proposal options that protect the investor as it relates to their real estate portfolio.
- Communicate directly with clients via phone email or in person in a professional and friendly manner.
- Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage and assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model.
- Document coverage decisions in an effort to maintain accurate records.
- Assign locations to the appropriate Master Policy based on company guidelines.
- Contributes to team effort by collaborating with assigned team and accomplishing related results as needed.
- Build positive relationships and maintain excellent communication with all departments within the organization.
- Recognize the importance of affiliate and retail agentdriven opportunities and handle appropriately.
- Execute job functions with energy professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to maintain a 60 closing ratio on all new accounts.
Basic Qualifications - High School diploma required 4year college degree preferred.
- Two or more years in a Client Service position or Sales position.
- Property and Casualty license preferred.
- Above average skills in email social networking and phone etiquette.
- Specialized training in Insurance Continuing Education and Sales.
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
- General knowledge of real estate investing/transactions preferred.
- Industry specific affiliations are preferred.
- Ability to travel to industry events as needed.
