JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms nursing units offices clinical areas waiting areas lobbies lounges rest rooms corridors elevators laundry and stairways in a clean neat and sanitary manner.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacturers recommendations. Replenishes supplies; notifies the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
Observes safety precautions at all times. Uses safety signs WET FLOOR and ropes off sections of floor for cleaning where appropriate. Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely. Maintains set quality standards when performing job duties.
Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques standard precautions and isolation precautions.
Other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department and organizational performance in accordance with Curry Health Networks Mission Vision and Shared Values.
