Job Description

Weekly Pay $22.45/hour - CNA at Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island

- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals recovering from severe injury or illness in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
- Deliver care tailored to patients with stroke brain injury neurological conditions trauma spinal cord injury amputation and orthopedic injury
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing mobility and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Support rehabilitation team in implementing individualized care plans
- Maintain a calm and friendly demeanor to promote a therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maximize patient outcomes
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system (Pinpoint) for documentation
- Work varied shifts including weekends with a patient ratio of up to 1:8
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies safety standards and CNA scope of practice
- Maintain CPR and CNA certifications as required
- Care for adult and geriatric rehabilitation patient populations
