Job Description

Weekly Pay $38.67/hour - LPN at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital

- Provide inpatient rehabilitation services to patients recovering from strokes brain or spinal cord injuries amputations complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.
- Work in a specialized rehabilitation hospital setting designed for recuperation outside traditional hospitals.
- May be required to float between North and South Mercy facilities as needed (per diem position).
- Care for patients in a low-stimulation secured unit with monitored rooms.
- Utilize specialized equipment including patient lifts high-tech therapy devices (e.g. InMotion Robotic Arm) and a therapy car.
- Facilitate patient therapy in dedicated gymnasiums and therapy areas.
- Support patients and families in practicing daily living tasks in specialized apartments.
- Provide care in private family-friendly rooms and encourage family involvement.
- Promote rehabilitation in outdoor healing gardens and walking trails.
- Adhere to hospital policies including mandatory flu and COVID vaccinations (declinations not accepted).
- Complete cover sheet as required for employment.
