Job Description
- Provide per diem inpatient rehabilitation services at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City.
- May be required to float between North and South Mercy facilities.
- Care for patients recovering from strokes brain or spinal cord injuries amputations complex orthopedic injuries and other related conditions.
- Work within a low-stimulation secured unit equipped with specialized beds patient lifts and monitored rooms.
- Utilize dedicated therapy gymnasiums featuring advanced technology such as the InMotion Robotic Arm and therapy car.
- Support patient rehabilitation by helping them relearn daily living tasks in specialized practice apartments.
- Deliver patient care in private family-friendly rooms and facilitate family involvement in the recovery process.
- Encourage patient recovery using amenities such as an outdoor healing garden and walking trail.
- Adhere to hospital policies including required cover sheet submission and compliance with flu and COVID vaccination requirements (declinations not accepted).
