Job Description

At Imprint our mission is to build the worlds most impactful tools for learning and personal growth. Our first product the Imprint mobile app helps millions of people around the world grow in their personal and professional lives by learning philosophy psychology finance and more with bitesized interactive and visual lessons.

Imprint is one of the most downloaded and highest grossing education apps in the world. Apple named Imprint an Editors Choice and Essential Education App and Google chose Imprint as App of the Year. But were just getting started and are continuing to rapidly iterate and launch innovative new products that further our mission of impactful learning.

Our small team shares a love of learning and comes from backgrounds in technology visual art and academia. Our founder Daniel Terry previously founded and led Pocket Gems and Episode Interactive leading mobile companies which have reached 300 million users raised over $150 million from Sequoia and Tencent and collectively generated over $1 billion in revenue.

This Role

Were looking for a Head of Growth to lead Imprints user acquisition efforts and chart a path of rapid revenue growth over the next several years working closely with the CEO as well as our product and content teams.

Youll set the strategy for growth across new and existing paid channels lead organic acquisition efforts build out our influencer marketing operation launch new products and more. Youll work closely with internal stakeholders and outside agencies to manage campaigns analyze performance and continue building up a worldclass user acquisition pipeline.

This role reports to the CEO. This is a hybrid role requiring about three days each week in our New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Research propose and validate new user acquisition channels and partnerships
  • Brief creative teams and deliver creative feedback
  • Manage campaign strategy across paid social YouTube podcasts newsletters and other channels
  • Model and analyze channel and campaign performance and tie that performance to financial projections for the business
  • Work with the product team to experiment with monetization the new user funnel
  • Inform content strategy through growth experimentation
  • Collaborate with the Founder and CEO to develop validate and launch new products
  • Partner with the CEO to develop new business lines on the back of our rapidly growing customer base.

About You

  • 5 years experience with some exposure to growth marketing product marketing advertising or product management
  • Extremely strong analytical skills (MBA and/or a degree in a quantitative field from a top school is a big plus)
  • Comfortable giving detailed informative guidance and feedback to creative teams
  • Very detailoriented and able to manage many ongoing projects at once working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passionate about the education space and delivering a great experience for our users
  • Nice to have:
    • Ability to do financial analysis and own strategic finance function at the company
    • Prior experience in consumer subscription businesses

Compensation for this role includes a very substantial equity package. The target salary range for this position is $150000$250000 plus the equity package. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of jobrelated factors which may include education training experience location business needs or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
