We are currently seeking a strategic innovative and inspirational Director of Wellness and Outdoor Pursuits to join our Leadership Team.

From fishing and shooting to riding and an exceptional range of country pursuits Gleneagles offers the finest activity holidays Scotland has to offeran invigorating escape into the heart of the Highlands.

Youll love the great outdoors as much as we do and relish leading adventure alongside relaxation. Our World of Wellness showcases our serene Spa a haven of tranquillity designed to melt away everyday stresses with rejuvenation in our Swim & Gym spaces. Bob & Cloche our elegant beauty lodge adds a touch of indulgence.

Our Director of Wellness and Pursuits also provides consultancy support to the Pursuits offering at our sister property Estelle Manor an exquisite country house hotel and private members club in Oxfordshire.

• Providing strategic oversight and direction across diverse teams and areas ensuring a strong commercial focus. At the same time youll be a visible handson leader actively engaged in operational
• Leading projects from concept to business planning and successful with a deep understanding of the Gleneagles brand our experiential ethos always with a welldefined perspective on luxury in our environment
• Driving revenue and profitability success in a dynamic highvolume and multifaceted leisure business at scale
• Tapping into the nuances of each area youll unite your teams under a clear vision ensuring both exceptional quality and unwavering consistency in a fastpaced highvolume environment
• Striving to see our service through our guests eyes youll take every opportunity to ensure their Gleneagles experience is exceptional
• Recognising that communication is central to ensuring our values and promises are fulfilled youll coach and support your team inspiring all to do their best work always
• Setting the tone and leading by example youll be developing a team culture where your team feel valued and convey this warmth and thoughtfulness to others through the delivery of exceptional service.
• Disseminating key insights from guest data youll use this to celebrate success and drive continuous improvement across our offering inspiring your teams to further develop and enhance our guest experience
• Youll consistently assess each areas current ways of working driving change process improvement and innovation increasing productivity and embedding service excellence at every touch point across the guest journey ensuring each one continues to evolve and elevate its practice
• Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person were looking for:

• You have at least 5 years experience at divisional leadership level or similar with a strong professional background in delivering commercial and experiential outcomes in a varied luxury leisure environment or comparable context with a passion for health wellness outdoor pursuits and the landscape
• Innovation and adventure are second nature to you and you thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment adapting to change juggling often conflicting priorities
• A highly experienced operator youre also humble and willing to listen to and learn from some of the most knowledgeable and passionate experts in their fields
• You have wellhoned commercial acumen and business development skills and awareness youre able to create opportunities that offer both sustainable and commercially viable solutions
• A big picture strategic thinker youre also a practical applicator with great attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Your experience in managing and developing teams is vast youre a highly credible leader with a peoplefirst and solutionled approach and you extend this to team collaboration across the business
• Progressive in your thinking curious you exhibit a restlessness and ambition both for yourself and the business. You understand that to be successful and have sustained impact you also need to be diligent highly organised and commercially minded
• Internally you build relationships on trust and by truly understanding what your stakeholders need always fulfilling your promises; externally you build relationships through warmth and compassion nurturing these relationships for the longer term with a sharp eye on the needs and priorities of the business
• You like it when your work stands out from the crowd and you make sure youre always one step ahead of industry trends; youve got your finger on the pulse and if somethings escaped you you know how to find out!
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
