(Shell) is a naturebased solutions consulting firm that specializes in designing and implementing afforestation reforestation sustainable agriculture land management and ecosystem conservation projects in India financed through the generation of carbon offset credits.

II. Job Summary:
AtAMRUT as a part of the Project Origination Implementation and Management team you will work in finding suitable partners who can implement a carbon project guiding them on technical aspects of designing the projects. You will coordinate and manage the projects during and after the implementation to ensure the effective generation and delivery of emission reductions throughout the lifetime of the project using suitable high quality carbon mechanisms/ standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing Carbon Credit projects specifically under NbS domain excellent communication and managerial skills and the ability to deliver in timely manner.

II. Roles and responsibilities:
- Acquire new project leads and opportunities aligned to the sourcing strategies of our customers.
- Screen and qualify project proposals from project developers/ implementation partners and their eligibility for our requirement.
- Coordinate social and environmental baseline survey field implementation and temporary surveyor/data collectors arrangement.
- Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of the project activities.
- Coordinate capacity building and training programs for various relevant stakeholders.
- Be the POC and maintain good relationship with the team members project partners clients validation and verification bodies and other counterparts.
- Design organize and conduct site visits and travel to project locations whenever needed.
- Coordinate collection and compilation of data from farmers and various stakeholders and project locations.
- Prepare and report on progress of ongoing activities and share with the overseeing team.
- He or she will also provide practical technical support to the local implementation partners for quality implementation of the program/project activities.
- To mobilize the necessary workforce to ensure that all project results are achieved at high quality.
- Taking leadership in followups and updates on latest developments and changes in various carbon credit standards pertaining to NbS.
- Develop technical acumen in association with project team in order to assess existing and upcoming NbS related businesses.
Requirements
III. Qualifications and Skills required:
- Masters or advanced degree in Forestry/Forest Management / Natural Resource Management from a reputed institute.
- 34 years professional experience in carbon project origination carbon project development or equivalent making impact on livelihoods biodiversity landscapes and natural ecosystems.
- Understanding of the frameworks methodologies and mechanisms used in the carbon markets like VCS CCBS.
- Existing network to NBS project developers NGOs especially in forestry & agriculture is a plus.
- Good command of oral and written English with excellent presentation and oratory skills.
