Position Summary
The Project Manager role is accountable for the coordination of space projects and people. Reporting to the Manager Capital Projects the Project Manager is accountable to manage organize monitor and orchestrate approved capital projects as assigned by the Manager Capital Projects from inception through to project close-out some of which may occur concurrently. The Project Manager will be a key team member of the team for planning and execution of projects including major capital projects involving the renovation of the existing Brantford General Hospital Site. The Project Manager will be initially assigned to the Emergency Department Renovation Project. The Project manager ensures that all projects comply as may be required with the directions outlined in the MOHLTC Capital Planning Manual relevant procurement guidelines outlined in the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive (BPS) and identified by the hospital and all applicable building codes. This role supports the management of fixtures furniture and equipment projects and activities as well as supports the planning and management of space requirements and moves.
