Job Description

Liberty FCU a fullservice credit union is seeking a detailoriented Time & Attendance/FMLA Representativewith a professional demeanor to join the Human Resource team. This position will assist with time and attendance record keeping FMLA and the employee evaluation process as well as other HR administrative tasks. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to be confidential with sensitive information and matters. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the FMLA program and other employee leaves of absence
    • Communicate with employees and managers regarding FMLA questions
    • Prepare and present FMLA paperwork in accordance with policies
    • Become familiar with the shortterm/longterm disability insurance program
  • Document and track employee time and attendance records in ADP
    • Review timecards for payroll processing
    • Assist employees and supervisors with time and attendance issues
    • Administer employee time and attendance accruals
    • Meet with new hires to register/educate them on the ADP system
      • Ensure new hire timecards are accurate
    • Report absenteeism issues to HR management
    • Reset passwords in ADP when necessary
  • Provide support in the employee development process
    • Assist with the coordination of new hire and annual evaluations
      • Assist in following up to ensure evaluations are given timely
      • Proof and offer suggestions with employee evaluations
  • Assist HR management with documentation of accommodation requests from employees and work with managers to meet employee needs
    • Research and coordinate necessary paperwork
    • Keep record of requests and accommodations
  • Assist with employee payroll duties as needed
    • Create or proof and file employee pay change sheets
    • Make manual deposits to employees accounts/create a cashiers check when necessary
  • Assist with completing and sending required forms for workers compensation/credit union insurance claims for employee and member injuries
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the HR storage room including scanning filing and shredding of sensitive employee information
  • Assist with various employee functions such as onsite AED/CPR certification courses and Holiday Bonus distribution
  • Adhere to the credit unions S.E.R.V.I.C.E. standards
  • Develop an understanding of credit union history philosophy organization bylaws and operational procedures
  • Develop a working knowledge of the credit unions data processing and word processing software
  • Assist in all areas of the Human Resources Department as needed
  • Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management
