POSITION: BUS DRIVER
Effective 202324 School Year
LOCATION: TRANSPORTATION
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking individuals to ensure the safe transportation of students staff and others to and from school residential neighborhoods and field trips.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List:
- Ensure passenger safety maintains discipline on bus.
- Transport students on field trips and outings athletic events and other extracurricular events often in the evening and at nights as assigned.
- Conduct a daily pretrip safety inspection of the bus prior to transporting students according to state mandated guidelines.
- Maintain assigned schedule and discharges students only at authorized stops.
- Adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List:
- Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
- Meets all mandated health requirements.
- Must pass criminal background check and preemployment drug screening.
SALARY: Per approved salary schedule. THIS IS A SPREAD PAY POSITION ONCE YOU BECOME A DRIVER
