Job Description

Job Summary

VRRs CRM Marketing Manager will be charged with developing a deep understanding of our customers purchase behaviors attitudes and interests using the Epicor POS and CRM systems and applying that knowledge to develop customized marketing communications that deliver increased customer value. This role is also responsible for performance reporting around marketing campaigns promotion results and pilot initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain segmentation schemes in the Epicor CRM based on past guest behaviors to help improve customer acquisition retention and loyalty.
  • Champion marketing initiatives that drive additional customer transactions across our family of stores/brands
  • Provide reporting and insight into store and sales agent customer capture rates across all brands and provide insight to leaders on ways to improve these rates
  • Build Email integration with Exact Target and the Epicor CRM monitor new account setup and flow and dictate database integration between the two systems
  • Setup valid measurement plans including comparative measurement of champion vs. challenger pieces with control groups and design experimental marketing campaigns for both email and direct mail
  • Identify opportunities and/or data elements to enhance the VRR customer database and work closely with the IT team on implementation including List Hygiene and cleansing for email and DM
  • Apply marketing best practices for email email preferences landing and web pages churn management deliverability IP reputation browser/client compatibility subject lines and CANSPAM compliance
  • Create reports to track both internal and external campaign performance for email and direct mail. This includes promo redemptions subscribes/unsubscribes open and click rates and online revenue
  • Work with Brand Managers and the Creative team to optimize the design content layout and messaging strategies of email communications. Work closely with the Vail CRM team on marketing opportunities and enhancements that will increase effectiveness and efficiency for both companies
  • Provide day to day operational and technical support for CRM system (Epicor) including researching data issues managing opt out lists promotion setup and day to day maintenance of CRM system.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years in direct or online marketing
  • 3 years in CRM / Database marketing
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills possess an understanding of various analytic techniques
  • Experience working with Email Marketing Tools and Reporting Exact Target experience preferred
  • Experience working in marketing databases with campaign management tools Epicor experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point) Email Marketing Platforms Database Maintenance Experience
  • HTML Adobe Dream Weaver SQL preferred
  • Ability to articulate and champion email marketing and direct marketing best practices
  • Management of crossfunctional relationships especially with IT
  • HTML and Amp script coding experience preferred
  • Email copy writing and editing preferred
  • Experience managing outside vendors including email deliverability
  • Bachelors degree in business marketing communications or a similar degree required
