About Admissions
The Enrollment and Admissions team at Cornell Tech is charged with attracting selecting and matriculating the highest caliber of diverse students into the campus graduate programs. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment and Admissions we seek an experienced Assistant Director to play a critical role in growing and evolving the enrollment management strategy at Cornell Tech. Although this roles primary focus is on serving as a technical and operations leader for the units MBA program they will also support these activities across all masters degree programs as needed.
Enrollment representatives within Cornells colleges schools and units regularly collaborate and partner with the Enrollment Division to accomplish the Universitys enrollment goals.
Position Summary

A commitment to and evidence of designing and implementing marketing and recruitment strategies to attract and enroll a diverse student population. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills preferably in the context of working with student populations is required. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and multitask in a highpaced team environment and meet deadlines. Requires the ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to negotiate and advocate effectively and tactfully. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Some recruitment travel is expected including some weekends and evenings.
The Assistant Director of Enrollment and Admissions as a member of the Admissions Committee will work with faculty to ensure effective evaluation of applications interviews and recommendations for admissions decisions. Additionally the Assistant Director is responsible for providing insight and guidance on selection scholarships and yield as well as coordinating and assessing admissions criteria to develop an effective recruiting plan. The individual in this role will assist in the creation and implementation of marketing efforts via event planning digital initiatives including social media campaigns via various platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter information sessions and alumni engagement intended to cultivate and matriculate the incoming class. Some travel is required along with evening and weekend hours.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for creating statistical reports modeling and projecting application volume in collaboration with the Director. The Assistant Director will be responsible for knowledge of the admission database system data management and extraction for reporting.

This is a fulltime benefitseligible position located at the Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island in New York City. Currently Tech staff work a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week on campus. Flexible work arrangements are subject to change. Some travel is required along with evening and weekend hours.
