Responsibilities:
- Research and understand complex scientific topics to create accurate and compelling technical content
- Write clear and concise articles blog posts whitepapers and technical documents for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and researchers to gather information and insights for content creation
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy clarity and adherence to style guidelines
- Adapt technical information into accessible and engaging formats while maintaining scientific integrity
- Stay uptodate with the latest scientific developments and trends in the relevant field
- Contribute to content planning and strategy discussions to align with organizational goals
- Manage content projects including timelines deadlines and revisions
- Optimize content for SEO and ensure it meets relevant industry standards
- Ensure compliance with copyright and ethical guidelines in scientific content creation
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Biology Chemistry Physics)
- Proven experience as a Scientific Technical Content Writer or similar role
- Strong writing skills with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively
- Excellent command of the English language and grammar
- Proficiency in scientific research and information gathering
- Familiarity with different writing styles and the ability to adapt tone and style for various audiences
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with subject matter experts
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization
- Experience with content management systems and digital publishing platforms
