Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies procedures and goals for the pharmacy department ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads medical staff and nursing teams to assess needs resolve issues and optimize processes to support effective and safe drug therapy.
- Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff fostering a culture of excellence innovation and teamwork.
- Leverage deep expertise in pharmacy practices and concepts to plan and achieve department objectives effectively.
- Oversee and manage the delivery of pharmacy services ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- An advanced degree (e.g. PharmD or Masters in Pharmacy/Healthcare Administration). Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy services with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices regulations and clinical applications.
