Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off
L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Facilities Technician.They will be responsible for the maintenance and/or delegation of the repair of the facilitys structure equipment including plumbing electrical and HVAC. Performs trades work such as carpentry or painting in construction repair or alteration of structures such as walls or office fixtures. Makes periodic or special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary. May schedule or oversee perform and /or arrange for subcontractors to complete maintenance or original work assignments
Essential Functions:
Working knowledge/experience in industrial maintenance
Strong skills in electrical trouble shooting
Knowledge in electrical sub stations HVAC systems fire alarm systems sprinkler systems and energy management systems
Maintenance of the repair of the facilitys structure/equipment
Perform trades work
Makes inspections of the premises
Schedule or oversee for subcontractors to complete maintence
Respond to work orders and Preventative Maintenance through work order software programs
Required Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8years of prior maintenance experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4years of prior maintenance experience
Desirable Qualifications:
Strong experience / training in one of the following: Mechanical HVAC Boiler and/or Electrical
Ability to interpret building drawings with additional experience in space planning
Project management skills
Building construction experience
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $27.64 $51.20. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
