Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic and fastpaced Climate division head office. Reporting directly to the Divisional Controller this role will be responsible for centralized accounting functions standardizing and executing monthend close activities and managing financial operations within the divisions head office cost center Zone Climate Contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the Divisional Controller
  • Lead and execute monthend close activities including journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Present monthly financial results to the Controller with insights on key drivers and periodoverperiod changes
  • Assist with annual financial statement audit and related documentation
  • Review journal entries and account reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
  • Manage intercompany bookings and reconciliations
  • Oversee Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting for the division including monthly calculations and reviews
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records
  • Manage cash flow and accounts payable including vendor payment processing
  • Record and track vendor invoices accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Percentage of Completion accounting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailoriented with a focus on process improvement and accuracy
  • Selfstarter with proven problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking abilities
