The Opportunity
Were looking for a strategic leader to join our team. In this role youll lead the entire people functionincluding endtoend talent management Work Health and Safety psychosocial risk management workforce planning HR compliance and policy quality controlwith a strong focus on building a positive culturally safe and valuesaligned workplace. This role is ideal for a grounded emotionally intelligent leader who can influence change at a strategic level while still being hands on to get things done and:
- Lead our HR strategy change and workforce planning to support organisational growth
- Drive a strong safety culture and manage the full WHS and psychosocial risk portfolio
- Oversee recruitment performance management and staff development programs
- Oversee compliance industrial relations and Enterprise Agreement advice
- Ensure quality control over all peoplerelated policies and procedures
- Leverage HR systems analytics and emerging AI tools to improve the employee experience and drive smarter decisions

- Proficient in HR Laws and Regulations You have a solid background interpreting and applying relevant legislation Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Tech & AISavvy You are highly proficient in MS Office and can demonstrate the ability to leverage HRIS platforms data insights and AI tools to work smarter and support workforce decisionmaking.
Relevant qualifications and professional accreditations and a deep understanding of Gumbaynggirr culture will be advantageous.

The Base Salary for this role is between $110k and $130k per annum (calculated pro rata) depending on experience. In addition the role offers:
- additional leave days
- flexible working hours with monthly Rostered Days Off; and
- salary sacrifice benefits.
