Job Description
Were Hiring: SAP ABAP/UI5/FIORI Consultant
Mid Career IT Sector PretoriaJoin our team as a SAP ABAP/UI5/FIORI Consultant and utilize your expertise in SAP systems to implement customize and integrate solutions. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality applications troubleshoot issues and provide technical support. Leverage your skills in SAP ABAP UI5 and FIORI to contribute to the success of our projects and enhance our clients user experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong experience in SAP ABAP development (minimum 6 years).
Proficiency in S/4 FIORI application development.
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and integration technologies (IDoc SOAP OData).
Familiarity with SAP Treasury modules and banking interfaces.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

SAP Business technology platform (Neo & CF environment)

S/4 Application development and enhancement
o S/4 custom fields and logic implementation
o S/4 developer adaptation (Visual designer based in BAS and/or WebIDE)
o S/4 compliant e2e bespoke Fiori Elements implementation
o CDS Views annotations extensions implementation and enhancements
o CDS exposed and classic OData services implementation and enhancements
o Business object processing framework (BOPF) implementation and enhancements
o Service Adaptation Description Language (SADL) implementation and enhancements
General frontend engineering support
o Fiori content structuring and configuration
o App support activities (cache management service deployment etc)
o SAP Authorizations (in the context of frontend applications)
Jira / Confluence
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE
Min. of 10 years working experience
Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
SAP certifications in ABAP and FIORI are advantageous.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development & Enhancement:
o Design and develop new functionalities related to the SAP Treasury modules.
o Maintain and enhance existing bespoke and SAP standard applications ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
o Implement and configure integration with external systems.
Technical Documentation:
o Create and interpret technical documentation including design specifications and user stories.
o Conduct unit tests and support testing phases including automated testing using tools like Tosca.
Collaboration & Support:
o Regularly align with stakeholders and product owners to ensure requirements are met.
o Provide support for problem analysis and resolution in production environments.
o Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the Agile Working Model.
Quality Assurance:
o Ensure the quality of design and implementation through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
o Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers to maintain high coding standards.
