Job Description

Your Role:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager Risk Advisory is to support the continued evolution of ERMs capabilities including the ongoing build and implementation of specialized risk advisory expertise in the Americas and globally. Partner with the business to support riskbased decision making and strengthen transparency and accountability of risks within the first line through increased engagement enhanced connectivity and constructive challenge.

What you would be responsible for:

  • Working with the Risk Advisory team in the Americas help advance the risk agenda in the Americas region including defining and embedding risk advisory services to the business and ensuring the approach is aligned with operational strategic and financial risk management activities.
  • Coordinate support and advise on the of all components of the risk management framework including RCSAs KRIs Incident Management and Taxonomy.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Risk Framework and its underlying components including Risk Appetite and Governance
  • Develop a structured repeatable yet agile process to review challenge and connect the dots between risk appetite risk and control selfassessments KRIs incidents and other framework components.
  • Coordinate with the broader Enterprise Risk and Audit organization (ERM Risk & Audit Operations Intelligence & Data Analytics Internal Audit) to ensure crossteam interaction and alignment of regional and global ERM activities leverage scalability and datadriven insights and to simplify and streamline processes.
  • Support the preparation of committee / board risk reporting for Enterprise Risk in the Americas; participate in client meetings as needed.
  • Create and participate in learning and development opportunities to increase ERMs effectiveness and understanding of the firms investment activities and client expectations as well as common and evolving risk practices in the industry.

The Experience you bring:

  • Bachelors degree required with 812 years of relevant risk management experience; MBA/advanced degree a plus.
  • Direct experience working in a first or secondline risk role within a global financial services organization ideally within an asset management firm; knowledge of portfolio management and trading systems and workflows a plus.
  • Working knowledge of investment products and strategies including fixed income equities ETFs real estate and private credit.
  • Dedicated team player ability to manage and works well with others; must also be a selfstarter with ability to work autonomously when needed. Can adapt and respond to change.
  • Possesses sound judgement and excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated project management analytical and problemsolving skills high level of intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate negotiate influence and build consensus across the organization.
