About The Opportunity
This is an on site position and the primary purpose is to provide highquality business services and tax compliance support to clients while developing skills in business advisory.Reporting directly to the Principal some of your responsibilities will include:
- BAS IAS and FBT return preparation and lodgement
- Assisting in business advisory and financial planning services
- Reviewing and adjusting client bookkeeping and payroll records
- Researching tax and compliance matters and liaising with the ATO
- Writing management reports and assisting in business plan development
- Engaging directly with clients via email phone and facetoface meetings
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals companies trusts SMSFs and partnerships
About You
The successful candidate will have:- Proficiency in Xero MYOB and HandiSoft
- A completed tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A proactive teamoriented approach with a willingness to learn
- 25 years of local experience in business services and taxation
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently studying towards completion)
