Job Summary/Description:
KXII is looking for an energetic professional to work alongside our Creative Services team in our Sherman Texas studios. Strong editing & videography skills along with multitasking and attention to detail are some of the primary skill sets youll need during your shift as you help create station promotion and commercial content for North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Whether you are new to the business or just want a change of scenery come be a part of a creative team thats close to big city life in Dallas Texas or the open landscape of Southern Oklahoma with Lake Texoma right here in our backyard.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Advancing your knowledge of new technologies to perform daily tasks
Writing creative copy for local commercial and station promotion
Shooting broadcastquality video using a cinema camera and a drone
Editing with the Adobe Suite to create engaging media and prepping Syndication & Network spots for air
Station programming filler to reach an audience with a strategy
Work with Station Account Executives and business clients to help build and retain strong relationships during the creative planning and process
Qualifications/Requirements:
Some education or experience in television/radio broadcasting or creative production is preferred.
Editing skills in Adobe products such as Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop and Illustrator are essential.
Graphic Design and Photography skills are preferred.
Accuracy attention to detail and a teamoriented attitude help drive our team to be the best team it can be.
College or technical degrees are strongly considered but not required.
