Duties and Responsibilities
Develop a pipeline of prospective transportation opportunities with shippers across all industries
Generate new sales opportunities by coldcalling emailing networking etc.
Gain insight into the organization and processes of a prospect or customer to optimize the best approach to provide solutions
Prepare pricing rate negotiations and transportation bids in a timely manner with respect to market demands and goals
Support the development of existing and new customers across all means of transportation
Collaborate internally with the carrier operations department and account management team to ensure FitzMark delivers bestinclass service
Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
Minimum 1year sales experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers through email facetoface and telephone communication
Impeccable negotiation skills with ability to motivate and persuade decision makers
Possess the Hungry and Hunter mentality
Strong objection prevention and handling skills
Vigorous prospecting capability
Competitive spirit and passion for sales
