Job Summary:
The Computer Lecturer (CRT) will be responsible for delivering highquality instruction in computer science and related subjects ensuring that students develop strong technical skills and a deep understanding of key concepts. The role involves curriculum development student mentorship and fostering an interactive learning environment aligned with industry standards and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Course Delivery:
- Design and deliver engaging lectures tutorials and lab sessions in computer science subjects for undergraduate students.
- Develop course materials including syllabi lesson plans and instructional resources to enhance student learning.
Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to curriculum updates to align with industry trends technological advancements and academic guidelines.
- Integrate programming languages emerging technologies and software development methodologies into the coursework.
Student Engagement & Mentorship:
- Encourage active learning critical thinking and problemsolving through interactive teaching methods.
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students supporting their career aspirations and professional growth.
Assessment & Feedback:
- Design and administer assessments such as exams assignments and projects to evaluate student progress.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback to students to enhance their understanding and performance.
Programming & Practical Training:
- Conduct handson coding sessions workshops and programming contests to improve students technical skills.
- Guide students in learning programming languages algorithms and software development best practices.
Technology Integration & Research:
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital tools to enhance course delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning and research in the field of computer science to contribute to academic excellence.
Professional Development & Collaboration:
- Stay updated with industry advancements participate in faculty development programs and attend relevant workshops.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration on curriculum planning academic initiatives and institutional development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Masters degree (M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Freshers with strong technical and teaching skills may also apply.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python C/C or other relevant technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with instructional technology learning management systems and online teaching tools is an added advantage.
