Job Description
Our client a wellestablished company in the electrical engineering industry is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead their business operations. This role is critical in developing and executing business strategies to drive profitability operational efficiency and longterm growth. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership ensure governance compliance and drive innovation while maintaining highquality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the companys vision and objectives.
- Provide expert guidance to the board and report on business performance.
- Drive corporate governance best practices including King Code IV compliance.
- Ensure operational efficiency and costeffective strategies while maintaining product and service excellence.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including clients suppliers and employees.
- Oversee financial management budgeting and revenue targets.
- Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand positioning and increase market share.
- Foster a highperformance culture through effective people management and succession planning.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations health & safety protocols and company policies.
- Oversee technical and engineering operations to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve product quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A proven track record in managing engineering or manufacturing businesses.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Expertise in financial management and strategic planning.
- MBA or relevant business qualification (advantageous).
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
