Job Description

A Leading Technology based company is looking for Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities building strong relationships and expanding the companys presence in the market. As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating new business managing key accounts and contributing to the overall sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and targeting prospective clients in various industries.
    • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling networking email campaigns and inbound inquiries.
    • Use your understanding of the IT software industry to present tailored solutions to potential clients and position Company Name as a trusted partner.
  2. Sales Strategy and :

    • Work closely with the sales team to create and implement effective business development strategies and initiatives.
    • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to closing deals ensuring the delivery of value at each stage.
    • Customize presentations and product demos to align with client needs focusing on the unique value proposition of Company Names software solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery or implementation teams.
  3. Account Management and Relationship Building:

    • Develop and maintain longterm relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Understand client needs and challenges positioning Company Names software solutions to solve business problems and improve their operations.
    • Work crossfunctionally with product marketing and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding implementation and customer satisfaction.
  4. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

    • Continuously monitor industry trends competitor activities and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
    • Identify new market opportunities and sectors where Company Name can expand its presence and recommend strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
    • Gather market intelligence to improve product offerings and messaging based on customer feedback and competitor analysis.
  5. Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking:

    • Track and report on sales performance including lead generation pipeline health and closed deals.
    • Provide regular updates on progress toward sales targets key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development activities.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and refine sales strategies.
  6. Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with marketing product and customer success teams to ensure alignment on business development goals and initiatives.
    • Assist in refining marketing and sales materials to ensure they resonate with potential customers.
    • Participate in team meetings share best practices and support the broader business development team to reach company goals.


Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 years of business development experience preferably in the IT software or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT software solutions technology trends and the software sales lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop new business build relationships and close deals.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to understand client needs and offer effective solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced targetdriven environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) to track leads and manage sales processes.
  • A resultsdriven mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and business goals.
