Job Description

The Neurological Clinical Research Institute (NCRI) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is one of the preeminent global centers running and coordinating multicenter clinical research trials in Neurology focused on developing cures and improving treatment of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) Parkinsons Disease Huntingtons Disease Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases. The mission is to accelerate translational research in neurological disorders through initiating and testing novel therapies by customdesigning research protocols by bringing efficacy strategies and infrastructure to clinical research and implementing observational and interventional clinical trials. To empower the NCRI on its mission and to capture and manage information from clinical research the Systems group of the NCRI develops maintains and deploys several software platforms and systems. Working independently under minimal supervision of the Director of Systems of the NCRI the Senior Systems Analyst will: Lead data analyses data integration and data representation projects performed by the NCRI Collaborate with sponsors and NCRI personnel on development of functional requirements specifications Provide second tier support to the NCRI personnel in using systems and platforms deployed at the NCRI and department of Neurology Work with business stakeholders to develop specifications requirements for new software systems and modules Lead systems change requests processes for clinical trials systems Document best practices on data analyses and integration and serve as an inhouse guru on the topic The NCRIis looking for a motivated team player with the ability to provide a high level of services while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent project management and communication skills as well as being able to work independently take initiative and prioritize tasks is required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: General Duties: Responsible for all data federation and integration projects at the NCRI Provide analytical support to the NCRI personnel for data harmonization and analysis Mentor advise and oversee daily data integration efforts Responsible for System Change Control processes including analysis review programming validation installation and documentation according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines Represent Systems group at projectspecific meetings Triage address and support reported issues that may arise from software platforms utilization and plan their resolution Develop specifications requirements for new software systems and modules for the department of Neurology and the NCRI Execute test scripts in an integrated environment while incorporating quality management concepts Supervisory duties: Lead ad hoc projectspecific data integration and analyses teams Develop and implement training programs for enduser Oversee userreported issues for the System Accepts responsibilities for special projects as requested
