Wage: $15.00/hour Hours: 6:15 AM 3:00 PM Monday Friday Benefits: Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Insurance The Assistant Front Office manager is a full time position which provides administrative support to many of the daily Center operations. Of primary importance is the ability to project a professional yet caring first impression to all visitors to the center and to ensure the safety of the children by monitoring all persons entering/exiting the center. Maintaining this environment while performing various clerical duties including answering numerous questions about Center policies and programs is extremely important to the continued success of Mini University. Also the Front Office Assistant will work in the Nursery covering Teacher breaks supervised by the regular nursery staff. The Assistant Front Office Manager needs to: 1. Be knowledgeable in grammar spelling and arithmetic. 2. Have knowledge of office information and data including use of standard office equipment. 3. Have knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other databases. 4. Ability to communicate with employees and others outside the organization in a positive professional manner. 5. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. 6. Ability to work with minimal supervision and little verification. Attention to details is critical. 7. Opening the center on a daily basis including being responsible for the building and operations until a Center Administrator arrives for the day and other times as directed. Educational Qualification: High School Diploma Physical Requirements: 1. Be willing and able to impart information and orally communicate with children and others. 2. Be willing and able to understand and respond to oral communications and directions. 3. Be willing and able to read understand and respond to written instructions communications and materials. 4. Have the capacity to ensure the safety of observe and assess all situations involving a child a group of children and coworkers. 5. Have mobility strength and dexterity to be able to lift a child weighing up to 40 pounds; interact at each childs level; and retrieve children who wander and/or run from the group.
