You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPosition: Sales Manager – Oil & Gas Industry Location: Delhi/NCR or Mumbai About the Role We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Oil & Gas vertical focusing on Cathodic Protection Remote Monitoring Systems Digital Transformer Rectifiers Pipeline SCADA and Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions. This role is instrumental in driving business growth across public sector and government clients in India. Key Responsibilities • Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets for CIMCON’s Oil & Gas solutions portfolio from opportunity identification through order closure. • Business Development: Establish and grow relationships with key public sector clients (e.g. IOCL GAIL HPCL ONGC) and consultants (EIL MECON Technip) to influence project specifications and secure preferred vendor status. • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive 1–3-year business plan for the Oil & Gas segment. • Solution Selling: Understand client requirements deliver tailored presentations and demos and provide technical consultations to align solutions with customer needs. • Collaboration: o Partner with Proposal Engineers for techno-commercial bid submissions. o Work with Marketing for content generation including blogs case studies and social media material. o Liaise with the R&D team to relay customer feedback and shape product enhancements. • Market Intelligence: Maintain a competitive landscape matrix and regularly update internal teams on industry insights and competitor activities. Candidate Requirements • Experience:9–12 years in sales or business development within the Oil & Gas sector with a proven track record in selling industrial automation or digital transformation solutions. • Domain Expertise: o In-depth knowledge of Cathodic Protection Systems Digital Inspection and IIoT for pipeline monitoring. o Strong network within O&G PSUs and EPCs. o Familiarity with procurement and decision-making cycles in public sector oil & gas enterprises. • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills. o Strong technical acumen and ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders. o Entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset capable of operating independently. • Other Requirements: o Willingness to travel extensively within India. o A collaborative attitude and passion for innovation and problem-solving
