Job Title / Designation :Sr. Faculty 2D Game Art Faculty
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced 2D Game Artist Faculty to join our team and guide aspiring game artists in mastering the art of 2D game asset creation. As a faculty member you will be responsible for teaching students industrystandard techniques helping them develop strong artistic and technical skills and preparing them for careers in game development.
Specific Skill Set:
- Teach 2D game art fundamentals including character design environment art UI design and animation.
- Guide students in using industrystandard tools like Adobe Photoshop Illustrator Spine and Krita for creating 2D assets.
- Introduce students to art pipelines for game development and ensure they understand the process of integrating assets into game engines.
- Provide handson training in concept art visual storytelling colour theory and composition relevant to games.
- Assist students in developing a strong portfolio and mentor them on industry best practices.
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student projects and assignments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in game art and industry tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine (preferred).
- Collaborate with other faculty members and industry professionals to enhance the curriculum.

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors 10 Years/Masters 5 Years in Game Art Animation or a related field.
Any other skill set:
- Previous Teaching Experience: Collegelevel teaching experience would be a valuable addition.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a diverse and interdisciplinary academic environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with a commitment to student success.
