About this role

As a Marketing Manager at Ably youll play a crucial role in building and executing marketing initiatives that grow awareness generate demand and help sales to open up opportunities. Youll be responsible for running paid marketing campaigns optimizing content distribution for our target audience and managing marketing events to engage Ablys ICP. If you love running experiments and youre passionate about creating engaging customerfocused content for technical audiences wed love to hear from you.

Day to day you will

  • Run campaigns endtoend. Youll manage paid and organic LinkedIn campaigns to support our wider accountbased marketing efforts working with our Design team content producers and external contractors to create compelling assets and copy that deliver results.
  • Drive Ablys content strategy. Youll help develop and execute on our content strategy identifying and surfacing platformspecific content needs (e.g. LinkedIn campaigns Google Ads) and ensuring that messaging resonates with customers across our channels.
  • Champion opportunities to reach our ICP. Youll identify and execute strategies to connect with Ablys technical ICP where they are via paid placements partnerships and organic content distribution.
  • Create compelling copy that stands out. Youll craft copy for LinkedIn Google Ads email marketing and other demand generation efforts informed by a deep understanding of our audience and their needs.
  • Use data to measure impact and optimize campaigns.Youll utlilize marketing performance data to analyze effectiveness run experiments and continuously improve campaigns for better results.
  • Own marketing events from start to finish.Youll manage event logistics secure speakers drive promotion and maximize impact through preevent ontheday and postevent activities in coordination with our sales team.
  • Collaborate across teams.Youll enable teams across the business to make the most of events by equipping them with content assets and swag and ensuring we can capitalize on all available opportunities. And partner with our sales team to get our content in front of our target audience.

Its important that you have

  • Proven experience running LinkedIn campaigns (both paid and organic) to support ABM and demand generation.
  • The ability to create platformspecific content and copy that performs for channels including LinkedIn Google Ads and email marketing.
  • A customerfirst mindset with experience leveraging insights to develop researchbacked engaging content.
  • Experience in content distribution strategies including sponsored placements partnerships and paid channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing performance data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Experience designing and running experiments analyzing results and using data to drive decisionmaking.

It would be great (but not essential) if you have

  • Experience running owned events and supporting sales and engineering teams to maximize the impact of external events.
  • Experience in managing external contractors (e.g. LinkedIn and Google Ads specialists).
  • SEO knowledge to support organic growth efforts.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot Google Search Console SEMRush and MarTech tools for ABM.
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Experience working with technical personas and developerfocused marketing.
