JD for Technical Officer Waterproofing
Overview of the role:
Waterproofing Technical Engineer: Field technical resource who would primarily be responsible for supporting the business of waterproofing products by imparting practical training to the contractors lending technical expertise to internal & external stakeholders handling onground complaint escalations and being a strong technical pillar in product filed trials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training
Conducting practical training for top contractors
Onthejob training of TSM Trade and Territory ManagerPainter Partnership (TMPP)
2. Business Development
a. Connected closely with the topcontractors and be the Birla Opus waterproofing technical spoc for them
b. Assisting in site conversion by digital & physical means and guiding the local team
c. Technical intervention at critical sites at preapplication stage for issue identification & resolution
3. Complaint Resolution
a. Handling escalation from TMPP
b. Visiting critical sites and proving credibility as a subject matter expert
4. Tech Support
a. Query handling from all external & internal stakeholders
b. Vendor and new product technical evaluation for category creation
c. Support in gathering technical product insights
Qualifications & Experience
B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering with 27yrs of field experience in waterproofing industry
OR
Must have handled a similar role with relevant experience in the construction chemicals / waterproofing retail industry
Reporting
Direct: ASM PP PA (Painter Partnership Painter Academy)
Dotted: Waterproofing Technical Manager (WTM)
