Job Description
Safer Neighbourhood Officer
Location: Belfast City Council
16.47 per hour
Key Duties:
-
Patrol neighbourhoods to tackle anti-social behaviour
-
Enforce laws on littering graffiti fly-tipping drinking and dog fouling
-
Investigate complaints and gather evidence
-
Issue warnings fines and attend court if needed
-
Work with police council teams and other agencies
-
Support clean-ups safety projects and community initiatives
-
Complete reports and keep digital records
-
Attend community meetings
You Need:
-
Full driving licence
-
1 year s experience in two of:
-
Enforcement
-
Community engagement
-
Interagency working
-
Skills:
-
Strong communication
-
Report writing
-
Teamwork
-
Community safety awareness
-
Basic IT (Microsoft Office)
-
Good organisation
