Assistant Fashion Designer Opportunity Luxury Branded Retail Chain

Durban North.

Are you passionate about fashion design and eager to make your mark in the luxury retail world An exclusive branded retail chain is seeking an Assistant Fashion Designer to join their dynamic Creative Design Department.

About the Role: As an integral member of the design team you will help create beautiful elevated collections for clients to access through expanding retail and eCommerce channels. Youll work closely with a talented team contributing to full seasonal collections at a price point that allows you to collaborate with the best mills and factories. With your creative input your designs will come to life and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this exclusive fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and development of seasonal collections
Work alongside the team to ensure designs meet brand standards and production timelines
Collaborate with mills and factories to ensure design intent is realized
Prioritize and execute tasks with urgency ensuring deadlines are met

Requirements:

Proficiency inIllustratorPhotoshop andExcel
Proven design skills education and a passion for continuous learning
Technical expertise in fashion design and construction
Strong ability to prioritize tasks ensuring a sense of urgency in
A keen eye for identifying evaluating and suggesting business opportunities
A deep understanding and passion for the fashion and apparel industry
A drive to conceptualize develop and execute innovative new ideas designs and products
