The school is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and make a lasting difference.
Requirements
The Role:
- Supporting students with Autism across various year groups.
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children access the curriculum.
- Promoting communication independence and emotional regulation.
- Assisting with sensory needs and behaviour strategies.
- Collaborating with teachers therapists and SENCOs to deliver personalised support.
What We re Looking For:
> Experience working with children or young people with Autism
> A patient empathetic and adaptable nature
> A good understanding of SEN and strategies to support ASD
> Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
> A valid Enhanced DBS Adult and Child (or willingness to obtain one)

CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 2 Award in Understanding Autism, NAS (National Autistic Society) accredited training Safeguarding & Child Protection training
