About us
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a notforprofit organisation providing world class aeromedical search and rescue services to those in need 24/7. The Service has more than 40 years of proud history and operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth Belmont Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and deep level maintenance facility based in Broadmeadow NSW.
A key component of our fundraising is our Helicopter Housie program which was established in 1989. Every week over 1600 people play Cash Housie (Bingo) at one of 35 sessions in Newcastle Hunter Valley Manning Valley MidNorth Coast Central Coast and New England Northwest.
About the position
We are currently seeing applications for the role of Casual Housie Assistant in the Coffs Harbour and Grafton region.
You will be required to work every Friday 9.15am 1.15pm) and every Saturday (hours to be confirmed)
Availability on Wednesdays 9.15am 1.45pm) would be preferrable to fill in as required.
As a casual bingo staff member you will be an integral part of our fundraising team responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our players.
Reporting to the Housie Manager this role is responsible for conducting engaging and efficient Housie sessions in a variety of Registered Clubs across the region.

Essential Criteria
This role requires liaison with Registered Clubs staff and Housie Patrons and therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is a people person with the ability to communicate with a diversity of people. Confidence using a microphone is important.
