Job Title: Claims Clerk
Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Claims Clerk with experience working within a supply chain environment. The Claims Clerk will be responsible for processing and resolving claims related to damaged lost or delayed shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and resolve claims related to damaged lost or delayed shipments
Maintain accurate records of all claims and documentation
Work closely with the claims manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
Provide support to other team members as needed
Assist in investigating root causes of claims and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences
Communicate with carriers customers and internal teams to gather necessary information for claims processing
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a supply chain environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Attention to detail is a MUST
Thinking out the box
Takes initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with claims processing software is a plus
