Job Description
Position: Dietitian - Hospital
Start Date: 8/11/2025
Duration: 13 weeks and then PERM placement is required
Location: Lebanon NH 03766
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days
Shift Notes: 40-hour days
Weekend Requirements: TBD/Holidays required if needed
On-Call Requirements: TBD

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
Patient Population: All ages
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Call Call-back and Charge: Not applicable for this need
Must be able to move independently

Reports to: Food Services Director
POSITION EXPECTATIONS (Includes but is not limited to): Evaluates assesses and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs.
- Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
- Counsels patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care and monitors results.
- Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations.
- Diagnose and develop interventions for patients with malnutrition
- Participates in physicians rounds discharge planning rounds and conferences with nutritional implications.
- Conducts education programs for patients community groups and staff.
- Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.
- Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enable planning and participation across a broader spectrum of patient care.
- Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- 3 years CURRENT Hospital Dietitian experience
- Rural hospital dietitian experience required
- Current NH Dietitian license
- Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition from an accredited college/university required
- Permanent address of candidate must be included in profile
- Traveler must have their vehicle for this need
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile
