Job Description
Job Opportunity: Environmental Services Housekeeping
Position Summary:Join our team in maintaining a clean and orderly hospital environment! As a member of the Environmental Services Department youll play a crucial role in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and providing quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide quality customer service by paying attention to detail.
- Perform various cleaning duties including sweeping scrubbing mopping and polishing floors.
- Vacuum carpets rugs and draperies; shampoo carpets rugs and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins mirrors tubs and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make up beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Address housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glass.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
Qualifications:
- NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Punctuality is a must.
- Proficient in English (speaking reading and writing).
- Cooperation and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to perform routine repetitive tasks independently.
- Ability to accomplish all duties without constant supervision.
