Job Description

Weekly Pay $42.30/hour - PTA at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital Sacramento

- Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Facility: UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital (52-bed inpatient acute rehab hospital)
- Department: Therapy Services
- Shift: Days (No minimum guaranteed hours; flexible scheduling with facility)
- Number of Openings: 5
- Weekend Hours: Open
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: None
- Required Certification: Active CA PTA License
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Acute Rehab or Acute Care
- Patient Population: Adults with diagnoses including stroke brain injury (TBI) spinal cord injury (SCI) orthopedic trauma neurological conditions amputation
- Patient Load: 4-5 patients per day up to 6 hours of treatment time daily
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
- Supervisor: Caroline Owen
- Compliance: Standard facility compliance procedures apply
- First Day Instructions:
- Report at 8:00 AM
- No scrub color requirement
- Ask for Caroline Owen upon arrival
- Free parking provided adjacent to the building (parking placard issued)
- Personality Fit: Patient-focused strong teamwork and communication skills
- Job Focus: Deliver intensive individualized rehab therapy to maximize patient health function and quality of life
