Job Description

Weekly Pay $35.67/hour COTA at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital

- Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Facility: UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital 52-bed inpatient acute rehab facility
- Department: Therapy Services
- Shift: Day shift flexible weekend hours no call requirements
- Hours: No guaranteed minimum schedule arranged with facility after credentialing
- Patient Load: 4-5 patients per day 6 hours of treatment per day
- Patient Population: Adults with conditions such as stroke brain injury (TBI) spinal cord injury (SCI) orthopedic trauma amputation and other neurological/traumatic injuries
- Treatment Focus: Intensive specialized patient-centered rehabilitation programs
- Compliance/EHR: Standard compliance required documentation in Cerner
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in acute rehab or acute care
- Certification/Licensure: Valid California COTA license required
- Reporting: Supervisor is Caroline Owen; report at 8:00 AM on first day
- Dress Code: No specific scrub color required
- Parking: Free parking adjacent to building; placard provided
- Other Requirements: No float or on-call; must demonstrate acute rehab skillset and experience
- Openings: 5 positions available
