Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Services: Assist with activities like bathing dressing grooming and hygiene maintenance to ensure client wellbeing.
- Daily Living Support: Provide help with household tasks such as meal preparation light housekeeping laundry and errands.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with movement transfers and exercises to maintain physical health and independence.
- Emotional Support: Engage in friendly conversations and provide companionship to combat loneliness.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
- Client Monitoring: Observe and report changes in the clients condition to healthcare professionals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the clients health.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification: Completion of a stateapproved Home Health Aide training program.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in home healthcare or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients.
