Your opportunity
New Relic is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java Spring Boot React and experience in any of cloud environments (AWS GCP Azure etc) in supporting our FinOps Organization. You will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining cloudbased applications and microservices. The focus will be on creating highperformance scalable solutions from scratch.As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing complex software solutions. You will lead software development projects mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products.
What youll do
- Develop and maintain enterpriselevel applications using Java Spring Boot for backend and React for frontend technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of software engineers. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices and coding standards are adhered to.
- Work closely with product managers designers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
This role requires
- Full stack Engineer with 5 years coding experience on Java Spring Boot Hibernate and ReactJS
- Cloud environment experience : AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in architecting and building Web Services and databases (Cassandra DynamoDB Elasticsearch Aurora)
- 5 years handson experience of developing micro services
- 3 years handson experience deploying and running workloads on AWS
- Expertise in Kubernetes
- Experience with automation and Orchestration tools
- Built enterprise products from scratch worked at product based companies
- Mentor junior Engineers on the team
- Has a high bar on Design Architecture for scalable systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Gitlab CI etc
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with FinOps industry and best practices
- FinOps Certified Practitioner preferred Infrastructure Cost and efficiency
- Cloud cost optimization
