Job Description

Primary Purpose Of Position
The Faculty Personnel Support Specialist serves as client service lead and Subject Matter Expert SME for fulltime Faculty positions with responsibility for independently performing a wide range of complex Human Resources actions including: fulltime faculty recruitment appointment record creation process compensation and providing process consultation services in support of the division of the Academic Affairs. This position conducts position review/analysis associated with the establishment of new EHRA fulltime faculty positions as well as the modification of existing EHRA fulltime faculty SHRA staff and EHRA nonfaculty positions and all corresponding salary administration consistent with Federal State UNC System Office and University guidelines and policies. Additionally this position is responsible for the review of Academic Affairs NinerTalent recruitment and hiring actions for fulltime faculty and staff positions providing policy and procedure guidance and technical support to academic department heads and their business teams to foster business administration proficiency and service continuity among a highly distributed campus workforce.

Work Schedule
8:00 am 5:00 pm; Monday Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required as necessary
