Heres how a(n)Field Coordinatorfor our Edmonton Buildingsoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Assistswith updating drawings and specifications.
- Documentsfield records for quality production labor and materials.
- Assistswith inventory and tracking time sheets costs and quantities.
- Preparesquantity takeoffs.
- Assistsin monitoring the quality plan including conducting quality inspections.
- Conductsbasic safety inspections and training identifiesand correctssafety hazards and leadsby example in safety practices and procedures.
- Assiststhe project team with subtrade partner management including managing requests for information shop drawings changes and billings and workforce planning
- Assistswith schedules and monitoring performance.
- Developsand maintainsstrong relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering construction management architecture trade or a related field.
- 1 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred.
- Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles specifications and procedures.
- Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
