Role: Sr Manager Fundraising Bangalore
Experience: 610 years not more than 10years
Salary: 1520 LPA depends on experience
Location: Kingeri Bangalore
About the role:
This job description seeks a dynamic leader to drive fundraising and donor engagement for an organization focused on education and employability in India. The role encompasses:
Building Strong Donor Connections:
- Nurturing existing donor relationships and actively seeking new funding opportunities through research and networking.
- Developing personalized strategies to deepen donor engagement and increase contributions.
Leading and Developing a Fundraising Team:
- Managing a team responsible for donor relations reporting and volunteer coordination.
- Optimizing team performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and sector awareness.
- Ensuring the team produces highquality reports and valuable insights.
Strategic Donor Communication:
- Creating communication strategies to establish the organization as a thought leader in the philanthropic space.
- Designing innovative engagement methods for donors including events and individual meetings.
Securing Grant Funding:
- Leading the development and submission of compelling grant proposals that align with funder priorities and organizational goals.
Collaborative Leadership and External Representation:
- Working closely with leadership to integrate fundraising with overall organizational strategy.
- Mentoring and leading the fundraising team to achieve high performance.
- Effectively presenting the organizations work to potential donors and engaging in strategic discussions.
- Representing the organization at industry events and acting as a spokesperson.

- A passionate individual with a deep understanding of Indias education and employability challenges.
- A strategic thinker capable of engaging in highlevel conversations with funders.
- A diligent and collaborative team player with strong independent work ethic.
- An excellent communicator who enjoys interacting with both Indian and international philanthropic organizations.
- Able to handle uncertainty and find solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in fundraising networking and proposal writing.
- Experience managing a fundraising team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive and selfmotivated.
- Experience working with foundations family offices and highnetworth individuals is a plus.
