Irrigation Engineer (Marsa Allam)

Job Description

• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance schedule and completion for landscape irrigation systems.
• Design, construction, installation and operation management of irrigation, drainage network systems.
• Conduct pre-tender site visit, prepare the minute of site visit, technical clarifications and preparation of tender documents.
• Evaluate the submitted offers and prepare the Technical and financial reports.
• Supervise and monitor the irrigation activities and take the corrective action.
• Monitor the projects progress as per the submitted program by the contractor to take appropriate action to catch the delay.
• Evaluate the variation orders, and monthly progress claims.
• Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests/complaints
• Prepare the update and prepare/generate reports on maintenance work in coordination with Related Departments.
• Maintain the stock of repair parts to ensure appropriate maintenance of irrigation system
• Supervise and participate in the installation of any lines and ensure that the outsourced technicians/maintenance staff are adequately utilizing the irrigation systems.
• Coordinate all activities related and supervision of the third party contractor’s irrigation staff
• Ensure that irrigation staff follow appropriate Safety and security guidelines at all times Monitor acquisition and use of materials
• Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary or as assigned by the head section.
