Description


Brewster Academy an independent coeducational boarding and day school in
Wolfeboro NH seeks an Instructional Support teacher for theacademic
year. The primary responsibility includes teaching four sections. In addition to classroom
teaching candidates will be expected to serve as an advisor to a group of 68 students
coach an afternoon sport lead or support other cocurricular activities and live in a
dorm or serve as a dorm affiliate.

Brewster Academy founded in 1820 is a coeducational boarding/day school for grades
912 and PG. It sets the standard for secondary education with a teambased student
centered approach to teaching and an emphasis on its mission to prepare diverse
thinkers for lives of purpose. Teaching candidates must be interested in working in an
exciting collaborative environment that implements researchbased teaching practices
using a defined curriculum model differentiated to meet a range of student abilities. Set
on a stunning 80acre lakeside campus on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in idyllic

Qualifications

Qualified candidates possess at least a bachelors degree in the subject area and
experience designing and implementing differentiated instruction. Candidates should
also have strong interpersonal skills a keen understanding of the developmental needs
of high school students and enthusiasm for working in a culturally and linguistically
diverse boarding school environment.
